Works great, even better than a Pro version from the same developer. Two things I miss: “Duplicate drill” feature, and a good control to reset or edit par times (currently one needs to first place a cursor behind numbers to delete or change them and its too much for fat fingers)

The app is good and has what it absolutely needs. But there are three features that would help it be much better. First is that it really needs to disable the automatic screen lock when running. Alternately it not pausing when the screen locks would probably be sufficient. Second is that it would be real nice if the timer didn’t start with the reset time. For example practicing quad loads, reset takes involves unloading and putting everything back on my shell carriers. I need 10-15 seconds for that but I’m always fully reset prior to hitting the go button for a new set and that just wastes practice time. Making it toggleable would be good. But if I have set up to do 5 strings, I only really need three resets. Third is the random start. It would be best if you could contain the maximum and minimum delay.

I don’t understand why this app wouldn’t be offered on the Android platform! Not a smart choice!

Before I became a member at Front Sight, I paid $99 for their dry practice app, it came with a 2 day class. $99 for an app! I bet they sold 100 of them. Anyway, it’s not supported anymore. I’m glad I found this app

App is great and is exactly what I was looking for. I have 12 drills that I do on a daily basis. You can add custom drills which is really nice. My one request for a future release would be a “history” option where I could go and look back at what drills I was doing yesterday or last week, etc.

So the app is great and has all the drills that Front Sight runs you through and great options to customize the drills for yourself. The only problem is that in this latest version the only way to hear the tone is with headphones. This needs to be fixed, no one needs the headphone cable in the way fouling up their presentation.

For those that don’t know, the built in times and tests match the defensive handgun test given at Frontsight. I’ve used this app extensively for myself and others training for that test. Love the flexibility and ability to add your own drills. Suggestion: option to have drills in a folder rather then all at the same level. That way you could organize for different tests. (Using Frontsight as an example, you could put in the times for the rifle course, shotgun, combat master, etc) Highly recommend the app have gotten a ton of friends to buy it to help prep for testing.

What the heck? The timer starts at the make ready command, if you disable the ready command, then the timer starts at least a second before the buzzer goes off. This is a bug! Please fix it.

I am really enjoying this dry practice app. It is much more reasonably priced over its $99 counterpart. I can develop my skills, safely and for free (don’t have to buy ammo to dry practice). All that being said, it would be nice if we could download the drills so that the app could be used without internet. Some of the ranges I use are out of range. The app won’t work. I would love to have the timer even during firing drills. Maybe that function could be worked into a future update?

This app works great and is just what I need to match with my DryFireMag for practicing dry fire. I wish it didn’t drain my battery so, and that my screen wouldn’t go blank in the middle of a five minute session.

This is one of the up-to-date-apps worth buying. Let’s you customize the time, add various drills, and gives you the options for various settings such as the number for drill repetitions.

I could not any other simple countdown timer that would go down to the tenth of a second. This one has the adjustability that makes it very useful, not just for firearm drills, but anything else that requires a tenth of a second accuracy. Thank you.

Searched for a while and was not impressed with the apps I was finding. Some of them had not been updated in at least a year, most of them over two years ago. Unacceptable. This app does everything I need it to, for my defensive draw dry fire drills. I like the custom options a lot. Most of all, I like that I can see the developer has recently interacted with their customers. I really appreciate this. Whenever a phone updates and creates bugs developers need to fix, I need to see the developer acknowledge and be transparent about their plan to fix it. Great job.

This is an outstanding app. As a police firearms instructor I recommend this app to my students and have used this to push my own tactical limits. Well thought out and easily customizable.

Great app! This app has increased the accuracy of my shooting. Love it! Easy to use. Definitely worth the money. I especially like the strings function.

PREVIOUS REVIEW I gave it 4 stars for only one reason: You can only get 5 repetitions of the drill before you have to stop, reholster, then reset the app. Please give us the option of an endless loop. You can also take this to the range for effective live ammo practice. Just put your earbuds on under your normal ear protection.

I originally downloaded this app about three years ago and have been using it to practice for my Front Sight classes. I was able to finally score Distinguished Graduate at Front Sight last year. It is practice under time pressure that gets you there. I have used this App for dry practice and live fire, and believe it has helped tremendously, especially since it is geared toward achieving the DG. Thanks for the app! Dave M.

Too much time standing around! I can get in several draws in between called presentations. There should be a way to adjust the waiting time.

I should have paid more attention to an earlier review regarding the inability of this app to allow more than 5 repitiions of a drill in a single session. Let's say you're just practicing aiming and firing and you want to accomplish this in .5 seconds. It's more helpful to the user if the user can set the app to repeat this drill at least 10-15 times before having to reset on your phone or tablet. A limit of 5 sessions will hardly let you get into a flow and becomes an annoyance more than anything else. If I'm incorrect I will gladly amend or delete this review.

The app works well, and I appreciate the ability to create my own drills. I would've given this 5 stars if it could reorder the drills, create groups of drills, and backup/import the drills that I've created.

I can't figure out how to change the order of the drills. I'd like to have that ability in this app. That would seem to be a no-brainer that I'd assume should have been added from the start.

I wanted to train my 3 gun shot shell reloading and needed an app I could set x amount of seconds for y amount of shells and then keep refining. This app really works easy.

This is a very basic application that I really can put to use. It is fantastic that I'm able to add my own drills to the library of drills.

This is an alright app. It needs to be more customizable. I'm training differently than what this app can offer and I'd really like the ability to creat my own custom times and titles for how I'm training. Otherwise it's working pretty good.

This is exactly what I was looking for on returning from Front Sight training. The app is slick and simple to use. It would be nice to be able to add custom drill times, but the Front Sight drills are perfect for me. The repeat option is very handy. Definitely recommend.

This app is perfect for honing my skills on all the FrontSight drills. I use it for Dry Practice at home as well as live fire using headphones at the range. (You can jack it in to the audio input on Howard Leight Impact earmuffs or similar). I will be going back to Frontsight next year and now I know I can meet the timing requirements! Excellent App.

This app would've been perfect for my needs! However, the alert tones will not function and the app is silent making it worthless to me. It's not doing me any good if I can't hear the beeps.

What you see in the pictures is what you get. This is literally just a timer with a titles at the top of the screen. That's it. You get an audible "ready", then a whistle for whatever drill you've selected.
